With over 10 years of ownership and 30 years of management experience, the recently refurbished Badala Park Hotel is renowned throughout The Gambia, as well as West Africa, Europe, USA and by travelers worldwide.

Less than thirty minutes transfer times from The Gambian Yundum International Airport you will always be greeted in our large cool reception and lounge area after your travels, b it international check in, a local safari, river trip.

You will then be shown to your room along well-lit walkways under the high forest canopy. Wherever you walk you will meet hotel staff going about their work and soon you will find it impossible not to reply hello to their cheerful greetings and smiles. The well appointed rooms are in two storey units which spread out from the main swimming pool area and each has en-suite bathrooms (shower) and individual private balconies.

Breakfast is served in the Sunbird Restaurant and can d eaten there or the adjacent front terrace under the high palm canopy whilst enjoying the beautiful dawn bird chorus. Then after breakfast the swimming pool terraces with sun loungers and sun-shaded tables become the central focus of the Hotel day. Cold drinks and snakes can de served to your lounger or you can take the shade and be served in the poolside bar and restaurant.

Beyond the pool area is a hotel exit that leads you onto Bird watchers walk. Opposite is the main drive that leads to The Palm Beach Hotel, our sister establishment, where you are most welcome. On either side of the drive you can observe the famous wetland bird paradise that has a recording of 100 different species spotted in one week.
