The Hotel Paradise Carlisa, is situated between the villages of the Glory and the Angels. There are two alternative routes to the hotel from San Jose.

The first of these (Route Puriscal) passes through the important town of "Ciudad Colon" and then on through the Indian reserve "Zapatón" and along the borders of the Cangreja National Park.

The second route follows the highway towards Orotina before joining the coastal road to the hotel. There will be the opportunities to view crocodiles from bridges on the river Tárcoles and visit the nature reserve of the Carara. Half way between Jaco and Quepos, 8 Km before arriving in Parrita you need to take a left-hand turn immediately after passing a row of pink houses. Continue for 16 Km along this dirt track before arriving at the hotel.
