Utilized as a prison during the time of the ancient Republic of Siena, L'Albergaccio is a historic, medieval structure dating back to the 13th century. Having undergone extensive restoration, the building has maintained its original appearance.

By bus:

From the train-station, take a taxi or the bus number 17 getting to Coroncina (get off 50 m far from l'Albergaccio).
