We are located in the best neighbourhood of Barcelona, with the beach a matter of minutes down the street. Ciudadela Park is also 3 minutes walk away and we are only across the street from the train station (França).

The AWA Orleans Guesthouse is located in the best neighbourhood of Barcelona in the city centre- the Borne District. With its trendy bars, small narrow streets and funky shops to do all your shopping, you could not ask for a better location to be in when in beautiful Barcelona.

We are a family run property in operation for more than 50 years, recently renovated to provide the cleanest and most comfortable accommodation possible along with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We also have a common room with television. Drink service and 24 hour reception with no lock out!

The airport train drops you off just in front of the property at the Estació de França. Also, the most beautiful park in downtown Barcelona, the Park Ciudadela is just 200 metres down the street!

Barcelona is a lively city in any season. Staying with us, you'll will find yourself within easy reach of all the concerts, festivals, exhibitions and fairs that spring up throughout the year.

We pride ourselves on providing great service and excellent attention to detail. We look forward to welcoming you to the AWA Orleans Guesthouse.

At first the accommodation appeared disappointing. The communal entrance to the hotel which is shared with apartments below and above were shabby, the hotel reception area was uninviting, dominated by a huge drinks machine & our room was cramped. However, the cleanliness was of good standard and the balcony made up for the disappointment. Our room over looked the main street which was noisy on an evening, but after exploring this vibrant city you could manage to get some sleep through exhaustion, but do allow for noise from young travellers who come and go 24 hours, even on skate boards one night!! but this is a hostel. After saying all this, we stayed 4 nights, its location is central for everything between the beach area and city centre, and just across the road from the Franca station. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels supplied. The air conditioning & room safe is free of charge & security is 24 hours.
Would we stay again! I’m 50+ and went for a trip with my 30+ son & would definitely stay again given the cost, location and bonuses it has to offer, having looked around the city at other budget places, there is nothing wrong with Hotel Orleans. You get exactly what you pay for.
PS: no english speaking staff, so be prepared if your spanish is limited as ours.

The location was great! The room was adequate and I liked the balcony. The gentleman and front staff were kind and helpful. It was a good room for the value, not fancy, but clean and safe and relatively inexpensive, and there were two beds, which was needed in our case.
