Just a minute walk to Leidse Square in the historical centre of Amsterdam, you find Alexander's Bed and Breakfast at a beautiful Canal!

The other location you find in the heart of Amsterdam a few minutes walk from Central Station at Nieuwmarkt.

Practical information:

Location Leidse Square: On the first floor, with a beautiful view of one of Amsterdam’s canals you find an attractive non-smoking guest room. The room is light and you find the authentic beams in the ceiling. You can use the luxurious bathroom with bathtub and shower (shared for two rooms).

Location Nieuwmarkt: You reach the room on the third floor by elevator. The room is very light not only by the window but also by the skylight. The room has a private bathroom. Although the room is in one of the busiest places in Amsterdam you can enjoy the silence.

Location Leidse Square: From railway Central Station take tram: 1 or 2 or 5 till the stop: Leidseplein. From Leidseplein it's only 150 meters walk. From airport Schiphol take bus 197 to Leidseplein. Ask restaurant Castell.

Location Nieuwmarkt: From railway Central Station take tram: 9, 4, 24, 25, 26 or 16 just one stop till Dam Square. You walk into the damstraat till the Kloveniersburgwal (second canal), here you must turn to the left. The address is: Kloveniersburgwal 42 E.

Very comfortable and well furnished room with good views over the canal. This apartment is very well situated within easy walking distance of the Musuemplein, canal tours and various bars and eateries. It is also very close to a multiple tram stop. Alexander is very welcoming and accommodating and offers a good discount on the canal tours. The box of assorted teas is also a very nice touch. The only downside is the shared bathroom but, with a maxium of 4 guests plus Alexander, it's not a major problem. Highly recommended.

Our staying in Alexander´s BB was an unforgettable experience, location was ideal, easy accessible, host was really nice, room clean (we had an apartment with a canal view :) all these details made our staying perfect! I can really recommend! :)
