La Canonica di Cortine is a fantastic medieval elegant B&B immersed in the Tuscan countryside at Barberino Val d'Elsa, in the true heart of the Chianti Region. Dimora D'Epoca La Canonica di Cortine is part of the Group Dimore D'Epoca Historical Fashion Houses.

Our B&B is set half way between Florence and Siena (both towns are only 20 km. far away) and near the most interesting artistic sites of Tuscany.

It is the ideal place to spend a relaxing and enjoying holiday in a both familiar and welcoming atmosphere. You can spend your days just relaxing by the pool or exploring the Chianti region with its worldwide famous wine and food.

At the heart of picturesque Tuscany, Val d'Elsa is a fascinating territory with lovely landscapes and luxuriant woods and olive groves. Etruscan and Roman vestiges abound, with important archaeological finds and the memories of harsh medieval fights between the Commune of Florence and proud and fierce Semifonte.
