Ciao Venice has a spectacular location, spacious rooms, beautiful views, and is very easy to find. Ciao Venice is less than a five-minute walk from the main train station in Venice, Ferrovia Santa Lucia, and is located in the cultural and historic heart of Venice.

Because of the labyrinthine layout of Venice’s streets and the many bridges with stairs, carrying your luggage and finding your hotel can be challenging. Other places to stay in Venice are more difficult to find and if you are carrying luggage and your hotel is not near the station, you will need to take a boat (vaporetto), which costs 6.50 euro for a single ticket. Even if you have a lot of luggage, it is very easy to reach Ciao Venice on foot and we provide good directions in English.

When you arrive, the Ciao Venice staff will give you a free map and information about the main cultural and historic sights to see in Venice.

Payment is requested in cash at the time of arrival. Please note that in addition to the price stated here for a room, guests are required to pay the Venice City Tax of 3 euro per night.

When you arrive in Venice, please call or text Ciao Venice and let us know that you are on your way. You will receive the telephone number in advance by e-mail. If you do not have a mobile phone, there are public phones at the bus station, the train station, and on your way to the guest house next to the smaller bridge. Check-in is between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. If you arriving earlier than 8:00 AM or later than 10:00 PM, please contact us and let us know in advance and call Ciao Venice when you arrive.

Ciao Venice's convenient location is close to the main bus and train stations and the major things to see in Venice are within easy walking distance. Even if you are carrying luggage, it is easy to reach Ciao Venice on foot.

On foot from the bus station in the Piazzale Roma, Venice:

The Piazzale Roma is a large open area with parking garages and the main bus station in Venice. Ciao Venice is only a five-minute walk from the Piazzale Roma. In the Piazzale Roma, near the bus company's (ATVO) ticket office, there is a large modern steel and glass bridge. Cross over the bridge, walk straight until you see the main train station on your left and follow the directions that continue below.

On foot from the main train station, Ferrovia Santa Lucia, Venice:

When you exit the main train station, Ferrovia Santa Lucia, you will be facing the Grand Canal. Walk to your left about one block until you reach the large marble bridge that crosses the Grand Canal. Go over the bridge, walk straight, and make your second left. Go over a small bridge and continue walking straight into a small square called the Campo Santo. Walk toward and along the left side of the church (San Simeone Profeta). A covered portico opens up at the left onto the picturesque Campo San Simon Grando. The Ciao Venice is the third door on the left side of the square. The house number is written above the door and says "926, S. Croce." Iron gates open up to a garden path that leads to the guest house.
