Greetings from Chicago. We are a newly renovated hostel located in downtown Chicago. Our new rooms have hardwood floors and we have brand new granite bathrooms. Our low rates are hard to be matched with other hotels and hostels in the area. We are a short walk from Union Station, Greyhound Station, and the train that can bring you to our block from Midway and O'Hare airports. Our friendly staff enjoy helping our guests with planning their visits.

The Chicago Parthenon Hostel is centrally located in downtown Chicago. Guests can walk to major attractions such as Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Art Institute, Willis (Sears) Tower and so much more! With the Blue line train just a half block down, and our close proximity to major bus routes, one can easily travel to McCormick place, Magnificent Mile, and the Museum District. Lincoln Park Zoo is a short bus ride away and the Medical District is one train stop away.

Our property features cable TV in our common area, a computer with free internet access, as well as free WIiFi throughout the hostel. We have a kitchen which all guests can use as well as serving free breakfast every morning. The hostel also has laundry facilities which guests can use for a minimal charge.

We do not have a curfew and there is 24 hour access to our hostel, as well as a 24 hour front desk to help with all your needs and questions. We have a brochure for major attractions as well as free maps for all guests.

The Chicago Parthenon Hostel features private rooms available for 1 person up to 8 people. We offer double beds or 2 single bedsd for private rooms of 2.

We also have 8 bed female dorms and 8 bed male dorms. Each floor has one large bathroom for males and one large bathroom for females.

From Amtrak/Union Station:

Exit through main entrance on Canal to the right. On Jackson go left until you reach Halsted a few blocks down. Make A left and we will b on the right hand side of the street.

From Greyhound on Harrison street:

Walk to Halsted and make a right. We are just 3 blocks north.

From O'Hare airport: Take Blue line train and exit on UIC Halsted stop. Go up ramp and left on Halsted street. We are just one block north.

From Midway airport:

Take Orange Line to Clark and Lake stop. Go all the way to the subway and take the forest park Blue line to UIC Halsted stop. Go up ramp and left on Halsted street. We are just one block north.

By car: We are one block west of the 90/94 between Jackson and Van Buren
