Except the location, there's nothing much to talk about this hotel. There was nobody to check us in, even though we had informed them of our travel plans. We were left waiting in the street with all our luggage for more than 30 minutes. The rooms are very cramped, the windows open to a ventilation shaft, and there's nobody around at anytime of the day to cater to the guests.
Locanda Rocco について
Locanda Rocco is a family guest-house in the centre of the city, only 250 metres from Santa Maria Novella, Florence's central railway station.
Locanda Rocco is just a few minutes walk from the most important museums and works of art and the most famous shops and markets are all nearby.
On your arrival you will be welcomed heartily and you will be given the key of your room and of the building.
The entrance time is not limited (no curfew), so you can visit Florence your way.
The parking is available but not is free
Time limit for chek-out is 11 AM.
Chek in is possible from 10 AM to 4 PM and from 6 PM to 11 PM but please call the number in the bell.
Night service: From 11 PM to 1 AM is possible to check-in (with extra of 10 Euro per person) if you call us at the phone number provided in the confirmation email.

This is not a place that i recommend. we arrived earlier than we planned to, and called the owner to please let us in. he arrived half an hour later, and was extremely rude to us. (meanwhile only God knows who had let us inside the building!)He pretended not to understand us speaking english, then muttered something about us having turned up earlier being rude and uncomfortable to him. After that he showed us the dark pit a.k.a. 'room' with a cot and seen-better-days mattress, and a cockroach running across the floor. Apart from the great location, it was a mess.
So if you want to avoid what had happened to us, don't stay here, neither at Locanda Latina, which is owner by the same rude guy!
