kevalin.p Kappa Tengoku Ryokan is really worth the money! The onzen was nice -> a lot better than i thought it would be. The futon was clean and new. but well, you cant really expect much from 3000 yen/night the building is a little bit run down and air con is a bit dirty. Overall, I like it!!!

hayleswins Although another web site said this property was in a non-descript area with no restaurants or shops nearby, it is only a 10 minute walk to the station, restaurants and shops (via a steep hill though!) The staff were all very friendly. You can book the private hot spring bath if you'd rather not share with strangers. The guest house is a little tired in places and could do with a refurb. Recommend the "Sakura"room on the 3rd floor as this has fantastic views. Walking past other rooms with their doors open they looked a little dark and dingy.
