emilytakay I really liked this place. The dorm was pretty basic but clean, the kitchen was very well stocked with equipment and communal oil, salt etc. they were very helpful and kind. I didn't mind the location, but as they say on the web it's about a 20minute walk from the JR station. Thank you for a great stay!

rlwcordy After a very enjoyable stay at J-Hoppers Hiroshima we decided to try J-Hoppers Takayama. We found the staff at this hostel just as helpful and friendly as those at Hiroshima. It seems the staff are carefully selected for being tuned into other travellers needs - even those of us who are a bit older! Our double room was very nice, the bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was functional and well-equipped. Highly recommended.

darunuch The location is very good but communication quite difficult coz. of language. No internet [ this is because of it' s Ryokan ?]. Bath is only seperate men and women. there is not seperate in each room. there are two showers in the the room. If the booking was full, I'm not sure the showers will be enough. The property owner was very nice.
drewbadcoc Conveniently located, good facilities. The management was very efficient and with limited English, was able to communicate well. The facilities were good, the service excellent and the food enjoyable.
