katiegumbo K's was a great hostel. Extremely clean and comfortable, helpful staff, and a really sociable atmosphere in the lounge. I'd rank it among the best hostels I stayed at in my 5 months of travel...maybe even the best.

Jolien134 Very friendly and warm ryokan. Rooms are nice and clean. You can easily reach this ryokan by the streetcar (tram) from Hiroshima station. From Doshiba-station (where you get off the tram) it's a five minute walk to the ryokan.
Mari P. Great location. Staff don't speak English but sign language made it all work. The room was clean, but the decor was a strange mix of (western) '70s curtains and walls, and Japanese tatami mats and cupboards - quite endearing once you got past the initial shock. I was on the fourth floor, and the bath/shower room was on the second floor, where the corridors smelled a bit cigarette-smoky. (My room didn't smell of smoke though.)

wez1 Excellent! Clean, had a nice homely feel to it. Great location near the main Hiroshima station which has plenty of nice places to eat etc. Our room overlooked a cemetery which was about 10 metres away, a little creepy - haha! But hey, it's all part of the experience. Highly recommended!
