julialpope Lovely, traditional-style place to stay. We had a huge family room (18 tatami). Friendly, helpful owners. More written information in English about where to eat etc. would have been useful to have at the ryokan.

katiegumbo K's was a great hostel. Extremely clean and comfortable, helpful staff, and a really sociable atmosphere in the lounge. I'd rank it among the best hostels I stayed at in my 5 months of travel...maybe even the best.
hwildy Stayed 2 nights. An older style business hotel but very conveniently located near the peace park and A-bomb dome. Lady was very friendly and provided me with a great map of the city in English. Great little okonomiyaki restaurant across the street too. Hiroshima is a beautiful city...easy to get around and many things to see.

sayuri5000 It's very clean and very easy to go and to find it in the map. The room was very well, but they haven't got any elevator and we were very tired from so much walking... Very well to go another time! ^_^

wez1 Excellent! Clean, had a nice homely feel to it. Great location near the main Hiroshima station which has plenty of nice places to eat etc. Our room overlooked a cemetery which was about 10 metres away, a little creepy - haha! But hey, it's all part of the experience. Highly recommended!
