kamikumite This place was superb! Extremely great service from Mr. Hiro. Although it is a 20 minute walk from the JR station, it is definitely worth it. There is a train station 5 minutes away that allows you to get around Nagoya easily. The facilities were great, large spacious room that we fit in 5 people easily. The onsen was a tad small so we couldn't have everyone in at the same time. Internet use, break-out areas were great. Last thing, we even got a complementary bus ride to the JR station when we checked out. That is good service!
guilaume A really nice place. Not easy to find the first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If I come again in Nagoya, I will certainly go here.

wang.ivy Be sure to read directions carefully on how to get there! It's very close to the subway and easy to get to, but the buildings all look the same. It's two short subway stops away from the Shinkansen station and a couple of subway stops away from the castle. You can conveniently get to wherever you want to go in Nagoya. It's good value for the money. The Ryokan also provides breakfast and dinner, which is really convenient and the food is good. The onsen is very nice. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Most lodgers only come back late at night so it felt as though we had the place to ourselves. The owner speaks good English so that helped.
