jaclyn.sin The location is ideal, a two minute walk from the JR line train station and a 15 minute walk to the Nara Park which houses the Great Buddha. The hotel is brand new - only a week old when we were there (March 7&8, 2010). So, it is extremely clean. The owners, a husband and wife, speak excellent English and they were so attentive and helpful! I recommend this hotel hands down!!!

loveedward007 I enjoy the hospitality from the hostress a lot. Such hot summer, when I came in the room she presented me a bowl of cool watermelon which was really a relief. The location of the Guesthouse is quite near the Nara Park, which is a must-go spot in Nara.
confusioni Very nice, small, traditional looking guesthouse moments from the JR Nara station. Great service by friendly bilingual owners - and very nice vibe.
sg_calayag ...let me see...the owners are soooooo kind; the place is neat and so cozy, so relaxing; the location is so convenient for commuting for both bus and train. Just love the place, wont hesitate to recommend to friends
hannahbell Check-in time is at 4pm and Check-out time is at 10am so it's a little bit different from the standard time. We arrived in Nara from Tokyo and was a bit tired then. We thought we can check-in already but we still need to wait for 4pm (although they allowed us to leave our luggages so we can stroll around the tourist spots). The staff are very friendly. The place is very clean and the ambiance is a bit traditional. The location is very near the train station, bus terminal, tourist spots and restaurants. We love the location since you don't have to spend in order to tour Nara.
Egmont The people running this charming hostel are simply great, I felt really welcome and kinda didn't wanna leave.
