hinkleann We chose this place by its location -- 2 blocks from the Zocalo. It is an attractive little 6 room hotel. Friendly staff (Ricardo's English is fluent), extremely clean (floors washed daily), and totally safe (someone always present, at night door/gate locked) We had room #6, beside the upstairs terrasse with plants, tables and umbrellas. Very pleasant. Room #5 is also great, has a french door, actually cut like a dutch door for air, onto the terrasse. All the other rooms are interior rooms, and though still quite nice, less worth the price.

cz2day We couldn't have been more satisfied. The location was within walking distance of all the historic downtown area. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and it was serviced daily. We took advantage of the computer that was made available and the very open community area that is upstairs. The room was large with two double beds and the mini refrigerator was very handy.
rachaelvau The Aitana was charming, and the staff were super-friendly and helpful. The room was large and airy, and very clean. They have filtered water available all the time. It's only a few short blocks to the Zoccalo, and two blocks to the best coffee in Oaxaca (as recommended by Mario at the front desk). Perfect location.
