lporras I've just returned from spending a week in Marrakech with my wife where we stayed at the riad Khabia. From the moment we step on the riad, the most charming was the exquisite attention from Julien and his mother. With a welcome tea, they offered on a detailed map of the Medina, a series of recommendations on the main places to visit, eat and make excursions outside the city. I must say that in all cases the councils have been very useful. And as a climax, he accompanied us on a walk of half an hour to give us some guidelines helpful to first delve into the maze of streets of the medina. Moreover, the riad offers every comfort to rest peacefully: the breakfasts on the terrace, where we also could see spectacular sunsets, cozy courtyard with its pool, the warmth of the room lit with candles at night and with an excellent bathroom with all amenities. No doubt highly recommended. We won't hesitate to return to this riad.

maymaloney Hostel Riad Marrakech Rouge is the best hostel that I have stayed in in over six years of independent travel. It is simply beautiful inside and the rooms, breakfast and atmosphere make it the ideal place to relax and chat to other guests. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and they have succeeded in creating an oasis in the middle of a fabulous, and occasionally frenetic, city. This hostel is wonderfully located, and easy to find (keep in mind that the name is not on the door - which adds volumes the the 'best kept secret' element of the hsotel). Aditionally the Berber tent on the roof and the numerous hang-out areas make this a great place to meet travellers, swap stories and find out where to go next. There is even a hamman in the upstairs shower if you fancy a scrub down sauna! Fran and Abdullah are most hospitable hosts and are both fonts of knowledge. You will be enchanted by this hostel.

eileen.wat Riad Zineb feels like an oasis in the heart of the medina's busy souks! Although at the bottom of a darkish alley, we didn't feel unsafe or threatened. it's wise to remember that these dark lanes and alleys are the norm inside the medina, and with this in mind are really no more dangerous than the wide streets and roads we know in Western Europe. It's an interesting and colourful walk back from Jemaa el Fna through some fabulous souks. A friendly, well run establishment. Staff are very helpful and answered our every whim. With breakfast served where you choose...be that in the Moroccan sun on the roof terrace, or poolside in the central courtyard. The rooms are each unique and decorated to a high standard in rich Moroccan style. We had a truly fantastic stay and would recommend this riad to anyone. I found out that Zineb means comforting in arabic and Riad Zineb is true to it's name.
