Dar Jameel is incredibly charming; we will definitely stay there again and recommend to others. Our private ensuite was a good size without sacrificing any ambience, the bathroom was adequate (although the hot water heater did not accommodate a series of two showers, so plan accordingly to allow the tank to reheat). The breakfast was absolutely the BEST, and the staff was very gracious in serving us even though we had overslept breakfast hours... above and beyond what we expected! Proximity to the Medina and Kasbah is good; walk to beaches is very easy.

This was a beautiful apartment that was worth every penny. You are able to enjoy a stay in a quiet building in a genuine Moroccan neighborhood. There are a number of grocery shops in the area, in fact, right across the street. You are able to enjoy privacy and can accomodate atleast 6 people comfortably. The place was extremely clean and stylish. Everything you need is there and the landlord is very kind. It was definitely an amazing experience and a place that I will consider returning if I ever visit Morocco again, hopefully I will, it was great!
Great place. Simple rooms, clean and friendly staff. Defenetely I would recomend also great filling breakfast.
Relatively expensive for Morocco. Quite far from the medina, city center, bus stop and ferry port, but taxis are cheap so not too much of an issue, and the distance is walkable in good weather, provided you don't have much baggage with you. Good breakfast (included). Balcony with view of beach (very close). Clean bathroom with nice, big shower- lots of hot water and great pressure. No wifi in room but it was available in the lobby (you have to pay to use the net on the hotels computers). Staff not overly friendly or helpful- but quite usual for a hotel as opposed to a hostel. The hotel does smell like cigarette smoke (smoking allowed in the rooms) but this is also quite standard in Morocco and didn't bother us.
