nadiazlin Stayed here for 1 night before new years eve. Wanted to stay at the YHA originally but the single rooms were full and was referred to here instead. They had only the female dorm available and I was reluctant at first but stayed anyway. I'm very glad that I did tho, this hostel has a good location, very clean and everyone was really friendly. The female dorm was a bit on the small for 8 people but at the time when I was there there were only 2 of us. Anyway I really enjoyed my stay, the manager - Graham was really really nice and friendly. In fact the friendliest backpacker host Ive come across during my trip to New Zealand. Would definitely stay here again! oh and I'm not much of a party person so the smoke and alcohol free thing was definitely a plus point for me.
