Famous Sunday Gaya Street market 2 minutes away by walk, 24 hours coffee shop downstairs, Local Handicraft & Souvinier shop, Post office, Bank, Cinema, Seafood Restaurant, Private Clinic and many other places of interest are just a few minutes by walk.
We are a budget hotel that offer backpackers rates. We have rooms for single, double, triple and quadruple. All rooms have fan, air-conditioning at night and either a common or an ensuite shower room with hot water shower.
We have facilities including a self service kitchen equiped with refrigerator, microwave ovan, stove, toaster, coffee making facilities, CCTV security, electronic card access system, in-house laundry service, Cable TV at the lobby.
Rates inclusive of simple Breakfast (Toast with coffee/tea).

RSSThe stay was really pleasant, with wonderful staff. Although the staff speak little English, they are very kind , nice and friendly. In case anyone is complaining there is no hot water, you just need to know the right technique to get the hot water started !
rooms is clean and tidy and always have new towels and sheets. Small cozy kitchen - good enough for small cooking - just wash the utensils before using. Simple breakfast provided - hey, don't expect American Buffet! Good for what you pay. Overall, enjoyed my stay and i would recommend to people. Enjoy !

ok, maybe at the reception they don't have a perfect english but they're great and really kind, room are spacious, with towel and soap, toilet and showers are very clean with hot water, kitchen has a big fridge and nice cooker plus water dispenser. Breakfast is just bread, jam and coffee, that's enough for what u pay!!! I choose it coz was underrated (57%) to stay in a quiet place and once here i was wondering why!! The location is perfect, away from the noisy spot but close enough to get there in 5 min walk. In front of bus station so u dont need to walk long with ur backpack... what else do u need??

For one thing, BAC is close to many good locations so I'd say this is its major strong point. My twin private ensuite was quite simple with queen bed, desk, closet and that's about it. Bathroom is somehow small at 3ft x 8ft with a broken shower holder. No TV and electric kettle in the room but you can watch TV in the main hall and get cold/hot water in a shared kitchen. For those who can't live without air-cond on for 24 hours you should take note of this -- air-cond is only on 6pm-6am. Should you need air-cond on at other hours you will pay RM8.00 per day. Though WIFI is available in the room but you will have to pay RM10.00 per day for it. Though I paid 10% deposit at booking, I was still charged 100% for the first night arriving at the counter. The receptionist was quite a nice guy, just not very experienced. I wrote an email to borneoadventurecenter@yahoo.com days before arrival and another one during my first night there, to my dismay a reply only came in after I left Sabah. IF you don't mind spending about RM15.00 more per night for much less hassles, I would strongly recommend Diamond Inn (RM71 per night for a Deluxe Double) just a block down the same road and it's even closer to the live seafood restaurants, beach, Phillipino market, and shopping centers.
