The chalets are located beside sunset beach resort and uses the same way or road to get to Oasis Restaurant. Upon entry of the road there will be a Sail shape signboard which is blue in colour. The reception is just adjacent to it. Our chalets are yellow in colour on your right hand side as you enter the road to oasis.
Our Chalets are located in the midst of Pantai chenang langkawi. One of the busiest beachside shopping strip in langkawi. 'Our chalets are just 1 minute away from the beach front', 3 minutes away from the famous langkawi underwater world and 2 minutes from the shopping strip itself.

Our reception is open from 9am till 6pm
Please be aware that we are located in the quieter side of the beach thus we tend to stay that way. If you are looking for a loud fun time maybe kedawang beach inn might not be suitable for you. Kedawang beach inn is the place to unwind, relax with pure serinity and breeze of fresh air.
. We also provide pick up and transfer service to and from the airport at a minimum charge IF YOU ARRIVE BEFORE 6PM. If you arrive AFTER 6PM, you can direct the taxi driver from the airport to Sunset Beach Resort's carpark.
We accept cash and credit card transaction only and all accounts must bepaid in full upon arrival.
*Any cancellation should be emailed or phone in advance (48 hours before your arrival date) to avoid
full cancellation fees of 1 night rate of the room that you have booked.

The infamous Reflexology Path
There is a reflexogy path in front of the rooms, so you can reflex those feet as often as you want, as we malays believe it would be very beneficial for your health as it circulates the blood from under your feet. The path is made from smooth sandstone to delicately follow the shape of your feet as you walk along it, bare footed of course!
The Fish Pond
Last but not least is our own fish pond. Yes a fish pond with a small waterfall, to create a sense of tranquility around our chalets so you too can relax and enjoy the fishes and feed them or even play with them if you like! Here at Kedawang Beach Inn even the fishes are friendly.....

Jungle Trekking
We can also arrange a jungle trekking adventure with a certified jungle trekker where you can be experience the real tropical jungle of langkawi and be one with nature at its best.
Island Hopping
Another way to enjoy Langkawi at its best is to island hop of its 2 or 3 out of its 99 islands. Island hopping usually consists of swimming in the lake of pregnant maiden island, paddle boat in the lake, lounge or sunbath at the lake platforms, or even if you put your feet in the lake by sitting at special area at these platforms, you'll bound to get massages from the catfishes in the lake while they wiggle their way in between your feet. After that you will be transfered to another island nearby to see eagle feeding. Eagle feeding is a very popular custom in langkawi, where th boatmen will throw fishes in the water while the eagle swoop down to catch them with its amazing force and grace. These are moments that you wish you could be there forever. The last island usually consist of a short visit for light snorkeling, sunbath and parasailing. Island Hopping is the most popular activity we arrange for our guests.
Mangrove Tour
Visit the famous mangrove swamp , watch the eagle feeding and fish farm. Where you can feed the fishes as much as you want and visit to the Bat Caves. This where you will be mesmorised by the grace of bats hanging upside down while you watch them sleep in your boats going through cannals of few batcaves along the limestones islands. Lunch is also provided on this trip as it is a whole day event.
Snorkeling / Diving Adventure
If you're the snorkeling enthusiastor or a diving maniac , this your chance. We can also arrange a snorkeling adventure for you at one of the island with a certified operator at hand and if you want to dive there will also be a diving instructor at hand to show you how and where you can dive. You will be sorrounded by beautiful tropical fishes and exotic corals as you snorkle your way around the place that is permitted to snorkle on the island. Same goes for the diving and even better as you go deeper. Lunch is also provided as this is a whole day event.
Sunset dinner crusie
For those of you whom want to unwind by looking at the sunset. We can also help you out with that. The sunset dinner cruise start from 5pm and ends about 8pm malaysian time. It set sails through a few islands among langkawi 99 islands on a supercool sailing yatch. On board you will be served with the best wine and assorted barbeque to experience the sunset with your friends or loved ones.

This hostal is small and cosy, rooms are cleaned every day and there is a separate kitchen where you can make your breakfast whenever you want. The hostal provides eggs, bread, tea and coffee.
It's very relaxed and you can be on your own if you want - or find new friends among the other guests! All is simple and functional, perfect if you're in Langkawi to relax for a few days. If you're looking for luxury or party you should go elsewhere, this is for the "less is more" kind of types :-)
It's at the quiet end of the touristy beach and there is a good internet cafe and some convinience stores close by.
I liked it a lot and would recommend it to my friends!

We were booked for 5 days but actually stayed for 10! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The position of Kedawang could not be better, 2 minutes from the best beach and right near to the Oasis restaurant which was a little haven, although a little more expensive than the other eateries! The Kedawng has a delightful garden with shade and chairs where you can sit and read or yarn with other travellers. Free breakfast with as much as you can eat, our bedding and towels were changed frequently and the bed and room seen to every day. What more can you ask? We had one of the Deluxe rooms which were very large and had air-con and a fan and a brilliant fridge. All rooms have their own bathrooms. Would thoroughly recommend this place.

It was a fantsatic stay and is located right in the centre wherein all the action related to Sea happens it not exactly on the beach yet very close to all the happening places and most of all it is value for money. Thanks to the breakfast that which you need to make yourselves and eat but everything is right in right there !!!!!!.
Cheers must stay at this hotel total privacy for couples and good for family members.

This is a great little budget guest house in an excellent location. If you don't expect much then you will be very happy. Rooms were clean and decent enough although pillows aer like concrete!
However it is cheap, located next to one of the better bars on Pantai Tengah (oasis) and the setting for the rooms is nicely done!

Kedawang Beach Inn located near the Chenang Beach. An excellent choice for budget accommodation in Langkawi.
We are in a deluxe room double bed room, it is very large with 2 big single bed. The hotel owner gave us some fruits in appreciation of a long stay of 5 nights. A common kitchen is available to all guests and it provides eggs, bread, corn flake etc.
Overall, this is a nice place.

Nestled in a quite little nook behind Jalan Pantai Chenang, near the famous Chenang Beach, lies Kedawang Beach Inn - An excellent choice for budget accommodation in Langkawi.
The staff were very polite and went out of their way to ensure that my stay was a comfortable one. The reception is open from 9am to 9pm. My room was upgraded to a deluxe room free of charge. The hotel owner even bought me some beer in appreciation of an extended stay of more than 7 nights...gotta love the free stuff!Free-bee's aside - The room was very clean and extremely generous in size...a huge room! A private ensuite attached with hot water heater provided. Room came with an air conditioner that worked extremely well. Room also had a fridge, which is always handy.
The actual rooms are located about 100 meters away from the reception which is just of the main stretch of road Jalan Pantai Chenang. Another 100 meter past the rooms is the popular Chenang Beach. This allows you the convenience of being close to the night life, beach and restaurants with the comfort of a quite nights sleep.
Another point worth mentioning - A common kitchen is available to all guests. Some amenities in the kitchen are included - tea, coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, spreads etc. Also there is a stove and utensils provided. This was a great feature and could save you some money with being able to prepare your own meals at home - as it were. I used the kitchen most days for breakfast / brunch.
All up, I highly recommend Kedawang Beach Inn to travellers of all types. With it's clean rooms, polite and helpful staff, excellent facilities and prime location, you would be hard pressed to find something as good and affordable. A gem of a place.

We are so happy to have found Kedawang. Our friends booked at other places, directly on the main beach, and complained continually of poor service and facilities. They also paid a lot more than we did.
Kedawang is quite small, and located on an adjoining beach, only a five minute walk to the main beach. The thing is, we preferred our beach. It has a lot less people, a lot less boat and jet ski traffic, you can swim in nicer conditions, and it is quieter. When we convinced our friends to come over to "our beach" they didn't go back to the main one.
Kedawang is small, just 10 rooms or so. It isn't directly on the water, but you just have to walk through the Oasis restaurant (very tasty food by the way) and there you are. The rooms are plenty big, there is warm water for a shower, and a communal kitchen which we used for breakfasts.
The staff were fantastic! We arrived early, before check-in time, they let us change in the backroom and held our bags so we could go directly to the beach. They phoned us on our cellphones when our room was ready, which was before the actual check-in time. For the record, our friends at "other hotels/resorts" at fairly opposite receptions.
They helped us hire a car for the whole day at a very reasonable rate. And on the last day, they again stowed our luggage from check-out until our evening flight... then some emergency occurred and the staff had to leave the office and lock it up! Still they thought of us, and left us a note. They moved our luggage next door to the convenience store and made arrangements for them to look after it for us! It was so thoughtful, as apparently the emergency involved a trip to the hospital.
So overall, I think the place is great. It's not as swank as some resorts, but it is clean and functional. Yes there are a few mosquitoes, but it is Malaysia, so just have some bug repellent. The price is great, and I think the location is ideal myself, as it is off the road (quiet), not on the main beach (quiet), on a nicer more private beach, connected to a great restaurant. It is a five minute walk to UnderWater World if you are walking slowly and stop to buy ice-cream, as we liked to do.
