Welcome to the Winston art hotel/hostel, with Belushi's bar, beer garden, and a large indoor smoking area with pool table!
Our rooms and hallways have been designed by independent, local and international artists or sponsored by famous brands. We have the Green room, Durex room, Stolichnaya room and Billy the Kid room, to name a few. You can choose private rooms or dorm accommodation, all with an ensuite bathroom! Included are breakfast, linen, towels and taxes. Lockers under every bed are free to use if you bring your own padlock and we have automated paid lockers (for use before check-in or after check-out).
Party or relax in our on-site Belushi's bar and restaurant where you'll find comfy couches, good music, sports on TV, great food and drink promotions all year round. We have 2-for-1 promos on Beck's, Absolut Vodka, Jameson Whiskey and Havana Club Rum with mixer. Also look out for €1.50 Jägermeisters and €1 Apple Sourz shots. On our bar menu you'll find hearty and healthy food at great prices, including the best burgers around, tasty salads, towering nachos, killer spicy wings, and fresh daily specials. All hotel/hostel guests get a 25% discount on the entire food menu.
We're located only a five-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station and right in the heart of Amsterdam, between Dam Square and the Red Light District. There are canal tours galore, coffee shops left, right and centre and our beer garden literally overlooks the 'working ladies'. No need to worry at all; the area is safe and everything is at walking distance. Sandeman's Free Walking Tour of Amsterdam leaves from our check-in desk at 11am every morning.
Next door, you can party at the Winston Kingdom nightclub. Each month the line-up is steaming hot, with the best live music and DJs, all night, every night!

I must say, the hotel is great but those who care about noises, stay away from this hotel. It's very noisy because of the bar.
Our room has an extra people, god knows where he came from and they made the room so filthy. I cant change the way people behave so, i cant complain much.
I cant put the blame to the hotel. The hotel is great, good location.. Im satisfied :-)

very friendly all round staff basic rooms but we were too drunk to worry its a bed and beakfast will be stopping here again in sept
The location could not be better if you're looking to have some fun in Amsterdam.
It's sandwiched between the Red Light District and the Damrak and surrounded by good coffee and smart shops.
The staff were really friendly, the art in each room is interesting.
It was a bit expensive, the bathroom could have been cleaner and there there were no extra luxuries (but the fun in Amsterdam is outside of your hotel).
Overall I'd recommend it if you're looking to have a good time or are traveling in a group. It can be a bit noisy but that's the area for you.

The St Christopher's seem to be very interesting hotels and hostels.

I stayed in a private room for four nights and was robbed 3 times. The first day my money belt was stolen from my room. It held my credit card, debit card, about 80 euro, and my social security card. Three days later my social security card magically appeared in my room. On both day three and day four a gram of marijuana was stolen from my room - on the third day i even took a picture of what i left in the room; when i got back the pictures didn't match. I finally spoke to someone at hotel reception and my room was not broken into (by staff i'm sure) on the fourth day. Do yourself a favor and pay a bit more for a nicer place...you're going to pay for it anyway. Staff are a bunch of thieves.
