In the middle of 2005 we established The Point Arequipa: a hostel overlooked by the impressive snowcapped Andean volcanoes in the famously beautiful city of Arequipa,located a short distance from Arequipa stunning central plaza.

Our beautiful villa,in the suburb Vallecito,has comfortable beds in both dormitories and private rooms.

There are loads of adventurous things to do in and around Arequipa & they can all be arranged from our travel center.

Relax in our garden or on the sunny roof top terrance,which has spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes.

When you turn up in Arequipa, in all likelihood, it’ll be in one of two places: the airport or the bus station.

From either of these places we can collect you, so contact us with your travel details (time of arrival, company name and transport number) and we’ll be there waiting for you. If not, give us a call and if the car is available, we’ll come and pick you up. It costs s/.15 from the airport and s/.6 from the bus station. Look out for our driver holding a sign with your name and his white Beetle.

We are located in a quiet suburb close to the city centre: about a ten minute walk or a s/.2 taxi ride.
