We are a family owned and operated accommodation; where you will actually stay and experience first hand living with a Samoan Family. What we lack in facilities we make up for it in service and hospitality. Your room comes with a free tropical breakfast of toast butter jam, tea and coffee.

I booked online for somewhere affordable and hopefully convenient and friendly for my mother and I to stay when we were in Apia. I can say that our stay with Rev, Betty and family was delightful and we ended up staying longer than intended. Betty was there to greet us at 2 am in the morning and Rev took us on a tour of the island. Rev and Betty also helped us with information. This accommodation is about 2 km from central Apia and is quiet and convenient to buses and taxis. If you want to stay in accommodation that gives you the opportunity to relate to a samoan family whilst being relaxing and very easy going, I can highly recommend this accommodation. Many thanks to Rev, Betty and family.

FANTASTIC place to stay in Apia! We stayed in the guesthouse (not the fales) and it's a great new building, very big and roomy and clean and has a well-equipped kitchen and lounge to use. Best part is the service - very lovely and friendly family who manage the guesthouse, excellent breakfast in the morning, and we were made to feel totally at home.
Location is only slightly further from Apia "town centre" than some of the other accomodation around the same price - but doesn't make much difference as the taxi ride costs 5tala ($3NZ) rather than 3tala ($2NZ), and the fact that it's so much cheaper and better value totally makes up for it.
We've stayed in quite a few places in Apia (all more expensive) but this is by far our favourite and we'd definitely return - have had so many dramas at other places with dirty rooms, money stolen by staff etc that it was a relief to find somewhere with completely trustworthy people, clean rooms and bathroom, not the mention the best breakfast out of all the places we stayed.
One tip - ask taxi drivers BEFORE you get in if they know where it is as some of the drivers don't know (since it's fairly new) otherwise you can spend a while driving around while they try to find it. Most drivers do know though, but it's best to check.
