Beautiful mozárabe house pleaced in the jewish quarter, very close to the historical-monumental and commercial area of the city. Recently reformed to be used as two starts hotel.

The hostal has 9 rooms of which 4 are double and 5 are triples. Comfortable and wide rooms, private bathrooms, tv, a/a, heating, etc.It is situated in a pedestrian street, making Hotel Zurbaran an ideal place for resting and enjoying your stay.

Please note that cancellations must be done 48 hours before arrival

the strong point of this hostal is its location: you're just one minute away from the cathedral and the Barrio Santa Cruz, a stop of the new metro (Puerta de Jerez), and less than 10 minutes walk away from a stop of the bus to the airport (Avenida Cid). Facilities are basic (there is no i-net access for guests, though you have a cybercafe 5 minutes away on Calle San Fernando open till 11 pm) but the place is clean and if you only need a place to sleep it is just fine. Most staff speak English and they are rather helpful.
my room was at the back of the building which meant a single window on the internal patio (where the reception is located) rather than the street, so the drawback is you get the noise of guests and staff interacting at the reception - amplified. I guess rooms on the other side are quieter - the street is tiny and tucked away, not on regular tourist routes, and there are no busy establishments around. Overall, it is pretty good value for money.
