A four star designer hotel smack in the middle of the Santa Cruz area; looks very slick and stylish, with a glorious shower (I could stand under that forever) in a rather shiny bathroom. Free WiFi (and big-ass laptops in each room if you didn't bring your own) contrasts starkly with the really expensive breakfast buffet. It's _nice_ - but not really my kind of place (too much luxury!). As goes for all hotels, it lacks atmosphere.
