Located in the heart of Sultanahmet in the Old Town, and close to a number of city attractions, the Nobel Hostel, Istanbul is a fabulous choice if you are looking for a comfortable and affordable hotel alternative. This popular property offers great value rates for visitors, and is only minutes away from the Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Topkapi Palace,Turkish & Islamic Art Museum,Mosaic Museum, Underground Cistern, Turkish Baths,Spice Market,Byzantine City Walls, Grand Bazaar and other important points. Istanbul is a unique destination boasting a heady fusion of ancient and modern highlights, and offers a wealth of fantastic memories just waiting to be made.
Private rooms are clean and have comfortable mattresses, private bathroom, TV satellite, wireless connection, non-smoking, 24 hour hot water, air-conditioned (there is a FAN in the room with shared bathroom), some double rooms have private bathroom some with shared bathroom.
We have 4 bed and 8 bed mixed dormitory rooms with comfortable and single beds.There is wireless connection in rooms.

Nobel hostel has own restaurant caf bar at nextdoor. Sofa restaurant is where you will receive a complimentary breakfast every morning in winter and 10% discount for lunch, dinner and drinks. We also have a travel agency which offers Turkey tours and daily Istanbul tours.

We provide pick up service from the Ataturk Istanbul airport ( 25€) from Sabiha Gokcen airport to the hostel ( 45€). Please inform us for your flight details in advance.
Cancellations should be made at the least 3 days before original arrival date, otherwise one night is charged to credit card...No commission for credit card payments.Check in time noon and Check-out 11.00 AM

RSSThere is some problems with the bathroom. when you take a shower you create a big flood becuse the shower is next to the toilet and there's no curtain. It's a good and affordable place to be in the heart of Sultanahmet!

Nice staff, (lovely breakfast staff), best location in Istanbul
I had the fortune to have very good room mates, but the room next to mine (303) dont stop fuckin all the time and couldnt sleep as good as i wanted
We had another japanese guy that didnt stop making noises and shouting at night (Charlie) but it was for a 2 days onlyFrom Spain my friend and i, we recomend to all the young people to enjoy there, seriously.
If im back again i will go there.Regards

The location of the hostel is perfect, very near the Blue Mosgue and Aya Sofia, the views from the terrace are wonderful and the people at the reception really nice.
A place to recommend, if I come back to Istanbul I will stay there again!

We selected Nobel for the price and location and I was not disappointed. For the price we paid it ticked all the boxes and included a simple cold breakfast. The room we had was a reasonable sized triple room which had a double bed and one single with a small balcony and ensuite bathroom. We had air conditioning, but our friends who had a double with shared bath did not, so make sure of this when you book as we were told on arrival that shared bath rooms DO NOT have air-con. It said it accepted credit cards, but it was broken so we were expected to pay cash on arrival or settle up later that day. There was a tv in the room but we couldn't get it to work, not that that bothered us as we didn't spend that much time there anyway. Probably the best features are the overall location and its roof terrace where we spent a lot of time in the evening just taking in the spectacular views. There is a restaurant/bar next door that offers a 10% discount on food for guests although we didn't eat there but did stop for a drink on several occasions as it has a happy hour. There was internet access but it was slow, but this was a re-occurring theme in all the places we stayed in Turkey. We hadn't noticed until our last night that there is a row of restaurants at the bottom of the street/hill down a side street. All the rooms we had between us (as a group of seven) were private rooms and not dorm rooms. All in all I was satisfied with the room for the price we paid and would stay here again.
