We offer free LAX pick up to guests who have booked a minimum of 2 nights acommodation, (after those hours special arrangements must be made in advance).

I stayed there a couple of nights & was kind of mislead from the reviews online. Honestly it was kind of shocking at first, because this place is actually kinda dirty & smelly.
Beds are really old & rusty and when you sleep it feels like laying in a hamock. Everyone has to use those old, filhty blankets and i am not really sure if the linen was really changed before i checked in. I booked a 8 bed mixed Dorm and was put into a 13 bed room, which didn`t really bothered me, but some people out there might have a problem with that. Although you can`t really lock the bathroom, the shower was really big & nice.The staff though was really nice & helpful. They showed us around & were always up for a good conversation. The Location is good, you can easily walk to Venice Beach or catch a Bus and drive to Santa Monica or go shopping at the Mall.
Some guests were kind of creepy, sometimes i felt like this was a hostel & a homeless shelter in one. I wasn`t feeling a 100% secure, but it was okay!
I would say it is okay to stay there a few nights, but i honestly felt very relieved as soon as i checked out.

We stayed at venice beach hostel for 3 nights, we had a great time in the van (we recommend you do to!). Place was nice, nice facilities. Sorry mike for peeing in the garden (the toilets were in use and i was loose haha!) - recommended; there is a great vibe there.
