Haleiwa - Our hostel/vacation rental is located in the center of the 7 mile wonder of the North Shore of Oahu. We are directly across from a beach called Sharks Cove which is walking distance to Pipeline/Waimea Beaches. We have private rooms with single, double beds. The higher priced rooms have TV, air conditioning . All rooms have a fully equipped kitchen, living room area and bath which are shared by only 4 other people. There is a picnic area with gas barbeque grill, pay telephone, VCR, CD player/radios . Reservations require a three night minimum stay.
Prices listed do not include Hawaii State Taxes of 12.96% (4.712 % for excise and 8.25% for
Transient Accommodation Tax. These taxes will be added to the Balance Due upon your arrival

If your goal is to get away from the tourist scene on Oahu, then this hidden gem on the North Shore is your destination. The owners John and Wilma Lane are super nice and certainly embody the aloha spirit. This location is just steps away from probably the best and least crowded snorkeling spot. I snorkeled every day-and swam with sea turtles each of those days. Sharks Cove even has snorkel gear for you to use free of charge-if you forget to bring your own. I think the cleanliness was a bit lacking only because their housekeeper was about to deliver a baby! It was still a great stay-and one of the best vacations I've had. I recommend walking down to the sharks cove grille and having the fresh ahi, going to the Haliewa Farmers market on Sunday. My favorite beach was Three Tables, just a short 5 minute walk from Sharks Cove-the water is turquoise and the view is beautiful! Also try Sunset Beach for another day in paradise! I would recommend this place to anyone-the front deck is perfect for watching the sunset during cocktail hour! Mahalo, Sharks Cove Rentals!

We had a fabulous stay at Shark Cove Rentals - warmest welcome ever, most helpful host, great facilities, comfortable bed & reasonable prices. Our only reservations would be the traffic on Kam Highway( which was exacerbated during our stay by roadworks) & shortage of parking.
