The only problem I had with the hotel was that my room was not clean in the respect of the bed mattress, pillows and internal furnishing (upholstery and wood) were not fresh. The wardrobe absolutely stank there was no way I would put anything in there it was dusty and smelt like it had never been cleaned ever. I think also it was because inside there was a thick duvet too which again, was not clean, I assume the cover was clean but not the duvet itself. The room was stale and smelt, it needs a thorough deep spring clean, and dry cleaning of the upholstery, mattress and pillows or replacement and the walls and furnishing need to be polished and waxed. The sheets on the bed clean but did not smell very nice, as the the bed mattress and pillows stank of the absorption of other peoples use. It wasn't very pleasant sleeping in the bed. I didnt say anything because everyone was so nice but I did complete there questionnaire and pointed it out to them on it, as I am now. The room was nicely decorated lots of wood on the walls and thick curtains and a long seat with upholstery on it, but fabrics and wood need to be deep clean regularly and this they have obviously failed to do. Other than that, everything was fine. Great buffet breakfast, and the staff extremely friendly and helpful.
