Friendly, helpful staff.
Couples room had a bunk bed with no light available on the lower (double bed) bunk. Double bed had a broken frame (outside 1/3 of the bed was not fully supported due to too-short slats with nails that had pulled out & you couldn't really sleep on it) & bedsprings that poke you in the ribs. Upper bunk also had support boards out of place, but these were the correct length and could be relocated evenly to avoid sags.
Common room with TV was outside bedroom door (noisy). Other guests were considerate and curteous - I'm just not accustomed to having noise sources immediately adjacent to sleeping areas in other hostels I've stayed in.
