Rooms and bathrooms were the cleanest I have experienced on this trip so far. Fairly secure within the rooms including keys for the room plus huge lockers to lock up everything if you have a padlock. Only issue was that 2 males and 2 females followed me and my cousin into the reception area as we were checking in to try and steal my cousins bag as well as try and steal some contents out of my backpack while I was standing at the reception desk. The security video was reviewed and sent to the police so the staff were helpful regarding this but it was a bit of a shock to have an attempt of theft whilst well within the hostel by outsiders.

No wifi in the rooms was my only issue with this place. It is a very large hostel which doesn't promote much intimacy with other guests, but that can't be held against them.

Many good points and just one negative thing, it doesn't feel like a hostel you know.. communication with other guests is inexistent unless they're in your room or if you're very talkative BUT location is super! right in the main street with full of shops and everything you need (although best parties were like in Palermo or somewhere close), there's a brand new bar wth a good atmosphere and cool bartenders which can even entertain you, reasonable prices for drinks and if you're lazy just go to the basement and you'll find a cool place to hang out. I liked the stay 5 nights and pay 4 thing or something like it. Rooms are cleaned just like in a hotel, they even make your bed. Free internet, and all, but just like I said, i'd rather have stayed in a smaller but cozy hostel.
