The apartment was very basic, but comfortable enough. The kitchen could have been better equipped, like with a kettle and tea towel at least.
It was very noisy at night, all hours, with passers-by talking very loudly under the window which didn't keep out any noise at all. Also 7am church bells were a wake-up call.
Location was good, but with the drawback of noise, it could have been cheaper.

My partner and I stayed at Borelli 6 Zadar for 3 days 24th Oct to 26th Oct 2011, very easy to book, Kreso e-mailed straight back, even booked a friend taxi to pick us up from zadar airport, 15 mins it took, and take us to the apartment.(cheaper taxi than the airport ones) his name was Tony. He was extremely friendly and very helpful.He took us back to the airport too for our departure.
Kreso Mitrovic greeted us when we arrived, the young hansome owner of the apartment ! he walked us (couple of mins) to the apartment,showed us round. Very clean, very bright and nicely decorated, basic but good. Kitchen with utensils,only 1 fry pan,1 saucepan,had to use saucepan to boil water for a coffee and tea !!typical croatian though so no problem at all,knives forks etc etc, even some coffee in cupboard !!! nice fridge too. Nice shower, towels provided, heating and aircon, most of all, very central to everywhere.And a comfortable double bed !!
Can not complain about anything, will deff go back on our next visit and stay there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

We were very happy with Rooms in the Center of the City! It was our first time in Zadar, and I was delighted when I was first contacted by our host, Kreso, who wanted to meet us at the bus station. Our room was perfect, overlooking a small street, within the city center. Very quiet, and the facilities were impeccable. I was travelling with a friend, and we had reserved a room with twin beds. The beds were comfortable, and we had our own private bath facilities and kitchen. In short, everything anyone could want. Our host was so kind and helpful, even taking us back to the bus station to help us resolve a problem we had encountered upon arriving. The restaurant he recommended turned out to be the best we encountered during our week-long trip in Croatia. I hope to go back to Zadar some day, and I will certainly look forward to staying at Rooms in the Center of the City again!

It was all fine and our host was very friendly. It was just a little tired and was far too light to sleep in, good location though and the taxi they organised was good.

Very clean, central place to stay in Zadar. They organised a taxi to collect us from the airport at a reduced price and we were greeted by the owner who escorted us to the apartment. Highly recommend!

We stayed in Rooms in the Centre of the City in April 2009. It was such a graceful arrival into Zadar with a friendly taxi driver who called our host (for Rooms in Centre of City) from his mobile and between them they organised our drop off/pick up. Our host met us at the old bridge and walked us to our room at 11pm at night. The customer service was excellent all around and our host was especially kind and welcoming. The location of the rooms is fantastic! Borelli 6 is right in the heart of the old town. We especially loved the coffee machine in our room and the bed was really comfortable.
We were very pleased with our stay in Zadar. It was an overall great holiday and we will be back in September 2009. Hopefully we will stay at Rooms in the Centre of the City again! Thank you!
