Paganakan Dii betekent de familie in inheemse Kadazan-Dusun tong en de retreat is bedacht om gasten te ontvangen in familiale gastvrijheid. Ontworpen in een moderne interpretatie van traditionele stelten huizen, wil het worden de toegangspoort tot een onvergetelijke ontdekking van Sabah van regenwoud; zijn flora en fauna, en een ontmoetingsplaats voor mensen die de waarde van onze planeet eco-schatten.

Onze ware 'tropisch' retraite bestaat uit lucht-geventileerde longhouses gebouwd met wanden van een fijn gaas waarmee all-round zichtbaarheid en luchtcirculatie. De duplex chalets bestaan uit muren die open in hun geheel aan de bomen om je heen en met een open-air badkamer zijn ontworpen om volledig omarmen Nature's liberty.

Met een multi-tiered communale paviljoen gebouwd op een beboste heuvel en een multifunctionele zaal met verbazingwekkende panoramisch uitzicht bereiken van meer dan 10 km te voltooien de retraite, u echt het gevoel omhuld door een tastbaar gevoel van aard.

The dormitory is very comfortable with fan, nice beds, and deck with view overlooking the forest. Hammocks and the toilets/showers are conveniently located directly under the dorm. Food is good and reasonably priced, and free shuttle is a plus. Highly recommended.

This is the place to be if you are heading to Sepilok!!
We had nothing but a great time,nice clean basic room that opened straight onto the bush, and the bed had good cotton sheets.The Bathroom we just loved with the natural outlook. Our room had both Fan@ AC both where quiet.

We found the communal cafe and relaxing space wonderful with the staff attending to everybody with only smiles all round.The food we both enjoyed and the breakfast was enough to get us through most of the day and the beers where cold.

The pick up from the bus stop went smoothly that we where very great ful for after being on the bus for 6hrs.

Our day's where organized always the nite before so we always knew what was going on and the FREE shuttle to the santuary was great.

All in all we enjoyed our stay advised others to stay there, with their feed back all being positive.

This place was one the nicest i have stayed in throughout S.E. Asia. I have nothing negative to say about it. The staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, quiet and peaceful, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Overall........awesome. Highly recommend it!!!

The description doesnt do this place justice, it is an absolute gem with fantstic accomodationa and the food is great. We would definatley stay here again if we we are in the area. The staff are so helpful and couldnt do enough for us. They provide a free shuttle bus to and from Sepilok Orang-utan center also with a free pickup from the bus stop.

Overall this is a must stay if you are in the area.
