After a long hike your body is probably calling for a massage, the convenient location of the hostel being close to the hot springs, makes it easy to fulfill this desire. Restaurants, bars and a small market are just around the corner.

Our Pirwa Hostel in Aguas Calientes has a warm atmosphere with common areas and enough possibilities for privacy. Enjoy a movie with some friends after a long hike and a hot shower or cook something in our guest kitchen. The comfy beds will secure that you can have a sound sleep before getting up early for Machu Picchu. Our friendly and helpful staff makes sure to provide you with all the information you need to be prepared for Machu Picchu.

Pirwa Hostel at Machu Picchu lived up to my expectation. Just about 5-10 mins walk from train station, reception staff friendly, helpful, speaks sufficient English It has internet, tv, hot water to make coffee, breakfast, large , new, clean rooms. As good as one can expect at Aguas Calientes at affordable price. I would have stayed more nights if i did not have to go back with Peru rail as booked. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to friends and family, as well as to a small group.
I cannot give 5 for facilities because my TV had just 5 stations and was fuzzy. The visa machine there could not process my visa card for some reason.
What stood out was: I always felt welcome, valued, safe, and at home!

Maria was a delightful proprietor.

The price is cheaper than many in Aguas Calientes but there is absolutely no drop off in service.

If I wanted something, Maria was there to take care of it. I also had no trouble checking out one day earlier than I had scheduled.

I highly recommend this place.
