Xiao Yang Lou International Youth Hostel, Guilin, China

The Newly Opened Xiao Yang Lou International Youth Hostel is located in the city center, next to the famous local Nanmen bridge and aside the peach blossom river which originated from Guilin’s famous two rivers and four lakes.

The Hostel is conveniently located in the centre of Guilin, a five minute walk from the train station, only three minute walk from the bus station and 30 minutes by vehicle from the airport.

Only a few steps from the famous Elephant Hill.the hostel is also surrounded by quiet, quaint streets with plenty of birds flying past and the sounds of the river flowing in the distance. Fishing, swimming & diving are all activities in front of the hostel, and when you need a rest, you can relax sitting by the river with a beer & enjoy the beautiful scenery. Nightfall offers a whole new environment watching the moons reflection in the river from a stroll on the banks, or even taking a boat tour from the hostel’s jetty under moonlight. Guilin is certainly a picturesque place to relax & unwind.

Xiao Yang Lou International Youth Hostel offers four room types; the luxury river view room, standard room, single room and dormitory rooms. All rooms have air conditioning, en-suite bathrooms & TV. The Lobby is cozy & comfortable to relax during your visit and also offers a dining room, self-service laundry, self-service kitchen, 24hr internet access, quiet reading area, DVD room, mini supermarket, CD burning facilities & luggage storage.

Our friendly Hostel Front Desk Team can assist with all your requests, including, tour bookings & tickets, airport transport, (including free pick-up from the train station & ‘at cost’ pick-up from the airport) city sightseeing guidance, bicycle hire and more.

Our receptionist all speak fluent English and welcome travelers & visitors from everywhere in the world. From the train station:exit the station then turn left in the direction of Nanmen Bridge (Nanmen Qiao in Chinese). After 5-10 minutes walking toward the bridge, you will find us across the road. Look for the green facia outside the hostel. Our place is only half a kilometer away from the train station so we don't suggest taking any transport, however, a train station pick up service is always available from our hostel.

From the North Guilin train station, call us for the pick up or take a taxi to the address given below.

From airport, take the airport shuttle to CAAC station, which is the last stop, then take a taxi to our hostel. The taxi costs 8 RMB and takes 8 minutes. Alternatively you may take a taxi directly to our hostel from the airport, or call us for pick up. Pick up costs 100 RMB for a car (seating for five people).

From the Guilin long distance bus station, exit the bus station and turn left. Walk for one minute and when approaching the bridge, cross the road and you will recognize our hostel by the green facia.
