Hirashin, Shijo Karasuma, Kioto, Japan

Conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto, Hirashin is a traditional Japanese-style inn with more than 140 years of history. Only 3 minutes walk from Shijo-karasuma Station, it is easy to access major sightseeing spots. Although located in the entertainment district of Kyoto, it is located in a quiet neighborhood. A convenience store is within 5 minutes walk from our ryokan.

There are 4 different baths in the inn. (female x 2, male x 2). The spacious public bath has been renovated in 2006. Yukata (light Japanese cotton robe) which guests wear after taking bath are available in your room.

Some push bikes are available. Please inquire at front desk for details.

Breakfast: 1050yen (Japanese dishes, order when check-in)

For dinner, Kyoto-style courses will be served upon request. 3150yen (Beef Shabu Shabu or Sukiyaki), 4200yen (Kyoto special Kaiseki cuisine).

Dinner will be served in the guest room.

Breakfast will be served at the banquet room.

All rooms are air-conditioned spacious ensuite Japanese-style rooms with TV and fridge.

The amenities include, towel, toothbrush and toothpaste, shampoo, soap, light cotton kimono, shavor, and a drier.

Check out: 10am

Major credit cards such as American express, VISA and JCB are accepted.

Doors will close at midnight but there will be a person at the front desk to open the doors past midnight.

We do not have a parking lot but there is a parking lot nearby. 24 hours, 2000 yen.

We will keep your luggages before check in time and after check out.

Access: About 15 minutes from Kyoto Station by taxi. About 3 minutes-walk from Shijo-karasum Station.
