A great place to stay, excellent location.The owner is very helpful but everything is in Greek time. Transfers to the airport can be a problem book to leave at least two hours before departure if being taken by the hotel.

ATALOS VILLAS IS WONDERFULL.
EVERY THING IS WELL MAINTAINED THE BUILDING IS LOVELY.
THE ROOMS ARE SPOTLESS
THE OWNERS ARE SO OBLIGING WHICH IS FAMILY RUN MAKING THE STAY MOST COMFORTABLE.
PROBABLY THIS PLACE IS THE BEST IN ALL TO WHERE WE HAVE STAYED IN GREECE OR ANY WHERE ELSE.

I stayed at the Atalos Villas for one night only, stressed out at arrival from incidents on my way to the hotel and in a very bad mood, just to find out that I had done a mistake of dates when I booked my room. My booking was two days ahead! Despite my sharp tone, the kind and level-headed owner poured me a glass of juice, and asked me to have a seat while he would sort out a room for me. The room he found me was a basic, nice and clean room, and very good value for the 25 Euro I paid. The hotel, being a former Apollo travels hotel, is situated in a quiet end of Kamari, but still only 10 minutes walk to all the shops, beach and restaurants. It has a small pool and a bar where you can get the necessary refreshments for a self-indulgent time at the poolside. For at good night out, stroll along the beach-walk, and dine at Nichteri restaurant.

I couldn't have asked for a better time in Santorini. Yannis, the owner, and his family are kind, funny, and incredibly welcoming. The pool is beautiful, the rooms are spacious...think studio apartment...and equipped with cutlery, plates, a small kitchenette, a bistro table for two, and many rooms have a small private balcony or deck. It's a 3 minute walk to Kamari Beach.
Yannis prepares a nice continental breakfast if you like. I didn't travel with my computer, but there is free wi-fi as well. In short, it's a great value and I had a relaxing and lovely stay at Atalos Villas. I hope you will too.
