Steffis Hostel Heidelberg opened in May 2009 and we would be very happy to welcome you in person to our friendly and green oasis in the heart of Heidelberg.
Located just metres from the main station we would like to offer you an affordable and comfortable choice of accommodation.
You can stay in one of our beautifully and individually furnished Doubles or Dorms and enjoy the cosy atmosphere together with other Travellers and Backpackers from all over the world.
We love backpacking and we love nature and therefore do our very best to give you a homey & natural place where you can relax from the wild days on the road.
The team of the Hostel is there for you, we would like to help you with planning your Heidelberg stay and onward journey.
Everything we know and love about this town we are happy to share with you, so please feel free to ask us anything you would like to know.

We do NOT have a 24 h reception.
In case you arrive later than 22:00 you need to arrange for a late check in beforehand by contacting us directly!
Guests who have checked in get a key for 24h access.

The location cose to the center city and near the station is excellent, especially that there is a big parking lot surrounding the building, and a large supermarket underneath - all perfect!!!

I had a fantastic stay at the Steffi's hostel. It is extremely clean, the rooms are decorated very nicely, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The water might be cold in the morning due to the high demand. But I have been told that they are going to install a larger boiler soon.

Excellent, excellent place!
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. The place is clean and we enjoy the stay very much. The kitchen and common room is just fantastic! Perfect location, very near to the central train station and tram station but the hostel is located in a quite neighbourhood. Definitely will stay in there again whenever I would visit Heidleberg again.

This hostel is really excellent. Everything you need is there, you have lidl on the first floor, the tram just behind the building and its localization is central so you can easely go for a walk and live your luggage safely in the reception. Lockers are provided, you even have free internet access (by wifi)...One of the best hostel I've stayed in

Very friendly staff, all very clean and safe. The only propblem is there is no lift and alot of satirs! Otherwise loved it.
