The apartments are placed in a very charming area full of tipical restaurants and night actration.

I stayed in Appartamenti Ferruzzi Balbi for the last week in September 2010 and found it to be a great place to use as a base to see the city. The apartment that we rented was the pent-house on the top floor and had two balcony's overlooking the city roof tops. There was a Jacuzzi in the double sized bathroom that was great after a hard days walking. Two bedrooms with a large double/king size bed in each. Fully equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge TV ect. There is a lift to all floors and the owner lives in the bottom apartment if you have any problems.

We picked our keys up from the Galleria Ca’ Rezzonico Dorsoduro 2793 which is an art gallery owned by the apartment owner at the front of the building right on the water's edge of the grand canal. The building is also next to Campo San Barnaba who's Church and piazza was the outdoor filming location of the library in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

When I return to Venice I will definitely try and book into this place apartment again.
