Lake Superior Backpackers is situated on Knysna's main road, in the heart of the Garden Route. Nearby are restaurants, pubs, shops & clubs.

Paragliding, horse riding, monkeyland, highest bungy in the world, shark cage diving and many more are on your doorstep.

Accommodatie Informatie

We offer deluxe as well as standard dorms, doubles, family rooms and camping. All our deluxe rooms have ceiling fans, closets and most are en-suite. We have 6 dorms, 2 doubles and 2 family room for 5/4 pax. We also have plenty of secure camping.

From Cape Town follow the N2 into Knysna. Just before the Total garage as you enter town, take a left onto Fletcher Street. Then take the first left onto Handel Street. Keep straight. We are the fourth property on the left.

It was a very very dirty room, with a tiny uncomfortable bed. The noise of the street next to our room was horrible; the whole night we heard trucks and cars drive by. There was no parking space, so the car was parked on the street. The service and hosts were terrible, unfriendly and not helpful at all. Cockroaches, antz, lice and a terrible smell kept us awake the whole night and i couldnt wait till it was light so i could go away!The insects were creeping on the walls etc.. we even made video's of it, so disgusting it was!And the staff didnt want to help us at all, they were just laughing and saying there were gonna fix it the next day.. well by then we were already in the car driving far far away.The pics from the website dont match with the reality at all!Check youtube for our vid..
