36 Rooms Kreuzberg is ideally located in Berlin with lots of access to nightlife (more about that later), restaurants and close to the U-bahn for quick travel anywhere including the Hauptbahnoff and Airport.

It is an old building and it is situated on top of a Nightclub. The beat of the music was still reverberating at 9.00am, so great if you are a backpacker out for a rage, but not so good if you want to sleep before going out to explore Berlin. The rooms were clean and comfortable, lockers were provided (but not locks) and the bathrooms were adequate even if the toiletry habits of the residents left something to be desired.

Free internet and free Wi-Fi was provided so kept us in contact.

There were a few rules, like no food or alcohol to be consumed in the rooms and no smoking in the building. None of these rules were actually enforced.

The reception area incorporated a bar, lounge area and big screen TV and provide a good atmosphere to relax and meet other residents.

Overall clean and comfortable and good value for money in a great part of Berlin.
