Casa Kiwi Hostel has just undergone a massive remodel from the ground up. We now feature:
A roof-top pool terrace at tree-canopy height with spectacular views, a two-story open-air hammock area, another terrace on the 1st floor with bar service and the creek running by, a mini-theatre with a big-screen HDTV and satellite reception, a computer room with 4 flat-screen computers and high-speed internet, Free WI-FI, a large kitchen with all new appliances and a granite counter-top, hardwood floors in all of the bedrooms, and last but not least a pool-table lounge where you can listen to varied world-music and where we occasionally showcase local live music.

RSSI went in two different hostal in medellin (First in the black sheep during 10 days) and this one is way much better.
First the location is incredible, it s well situated, close to bars, restaurants, parks, shops...
Even if the staff is not very enthusiastic, it's still good to live there for a few days.
The facilities are amazing: Pool, terasses, kitchens, beautiful tv room, bar. You have everything you need to stay and discover Medellin.
The rooms are, on the average, clean and very well-designedThe people who stays there are on the whole friendly and not too much on drugs.
To me, the only negative point is the staff. (especially the one with the yellow glass who is too serious and too boring to do this kind of job)
On the whole, I warmly recommend this hostal for it s good location and the amazing facilities.

I stayed only one night and the place was really nice but I needed some help from the frontdesk and she didnt seem too enthusiastic about helping me since I had so many questions. The other girl from the fdesk was really nice by the way, she was more helpful than the one whoe registered me.
The location was wonderfull and so were the facilities
