The waterfront invites strollers to sit down and watch the passing boats on their way up the river to the big ports of Frankfurt or down to the old roman city of Mainz with its impressive romanesque cathedral.

Enjoy WINE TASTING in our Rheingau region: you can drink home made products on a little winemaker's farm after half an hour bike trip around the hostel. You can get quite a good wine for very little money, accompanied by hearty basic food like sausage or cheese.
