AWA Chamonix Chalet Pele - our brand new five bedroom chalet with SAUNA, WIFI and breakfast all included in the price and all rooms Ensuite, is the perfect choice and price for the independent traveler.. It is located close to the very popular Jekyll bar and L’Impossible restaurant and is also just minutes from the famous Aiguille du Midi cablecar. It is also conveniently located a very short distance from the ‘Chamonix Sud’ bus station accessing the whole of the valley.

Renovated from an old farm house building with a real Savoyarde feel, the chalet is named after one of its many traditional features, the ‘pele’ or wine cellar with arched wooden ceiling which is now used as a cosy dining area which comfortably seats up to 10 people. Our lounge is a cosy space located in the old cellar with an arched, stone ceiling and if fitted with a flat screen TV with DVD player and satellite. All bedrooms are ensuite and can be doubles or twins, and the chalet also has a sauna where you can relax and unwind after a hard day challenging the formidable Mont Blanc. We look forward to giving you an the authentic Chamonix experience at a price you can afford.

Arriving from Geneva Airport, the Chamonix Shuttle for 25 euros drops you off in front of the chalet or at the check in office.

If arriving before 5pm please go strait to the check in of at 5B Résidence Le Mummery, 27 Avenue du Savoy, 74400 Chamonix Mont Blanc, FRANCE (a few minutes walk from the Chalet). If arriving later then you can go to the chalet first and arrange payment.

DRIVING BY CAR INTO CHAMONIXIf you are driving into Chamonix, as you enter the city you will enter it from Route Blanche (N506), which after roundabout, it turns in to Avenue Cachat, keep following that main street around, through roundabouts, it will eventually turn into Alle Recteur. As it turns into Alle Recteur, Head south on Allée du Recteur Payot/D243 toward Passage de l'Outa 0.4 km. At Place Lionel Terray, take the 2nd exit onto Avenue de CourmayeurGo through 1 roundabout 0.3 km. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Route des Pèlerins 79 m. Turn left at Chemin du Betty 28m and you'll find us here.
