Our Canopy Tour over 11 Waterfalls is the only canopy tour in Costa Rica that actually crosses waterfalls. In addition, the adventure tour offers two safe rappels. The 25 zip line tour begins with a relaxing horseback ride through amazing scenery. Alternatively you can do the tour by 4-wheel car to the first zip line platform in the forest.
Our Canopy Tour 'Finca Daniel' incl Superman offers not only a breathtaking view of the Gulf of Nicoya but also a lot of fun and action. From the top of the trees over the magnificent rainforest and amazing fruit plantations you will slip down 13 cables of various levels of difficulty incl. a 700m cable and the option of Superman.
The biggest High Ropes Course in Costa Rica. Feel like Tarzan in our famous 'Tarzan Swing' and get the apes eye of view while climbing in the top of the trees and enjoy Costa Ricas biggest High Ropes. The way of construction and our well trained guides make this adventure for nearly every person and age available.
Enjoy our one of a kind ATV Fun Park at Adventure Park Vista Golfo with your family and friends. Anyone over the age of 12 can be ATV riding in the Fun Park without having a driver's license and will be instructed by our bilingual guides. Our 3-level park has different attractions and activities on every layer. Ride your ATV and coast through trail of the first layer while skidding in mud, maneuver through the stone obstacles and the bridge of the second layer, which leads you up a hill to the panoramic passage where you enjoy an amazing view of the rainforest and the Nicoya peninsula or simply just take advantage of the long straightway.

What a great place to stay with fantastic views high above the Ocean. Although we were not there to join in on the adventure wires and course-bird watching we still had a great time.
We saw a Jaguarundi- a medium size all black cat with short legs. It crossed our path on one of the trails on the adventure park grounds. What a sight-our rarest sighting to date.
Our German host thought this a very good record and she was very pleased that one of these animals was on her land.

We had a 3-night stay in mid-January.
The hotel is reached by a steep and twisty road above a town called Mirimar, particularly precarious in the dark.
The views from the hotel across the Gulf Of Mayo are quite spectacular. The room we had was clean and comfortable, with a HUGE bathroom. Included breakfat was tasy and more than adequate. Food in the restaurant was delicious! There is a great choice on the small menu but they will also cook you anything else that you might fancy. The cook, Ronald, is a real character and served-up some great treats.
The hotel has only a few rooms. It's main business are the day visitors, who turn up in groups for the various adventures.
Main criticism is the staff's inflexibility with the Adventure programme. We wanted to do their zipline tour but NOT the included horseback ride and lunch. It was a case of all or nothing, so we missed out ecause we weren't prepared to pay the $99 per head charge for the tour. (Very expensive compared to similar tours in Costa Rica)
The other thing that nearly left us with a bad taste was when we were visited at the hotel by family who live in Mirimar. They stayed for a couple of hours, using the small pool with us. Before they left, we were told that we would be charged $25 for each of our visitors for using the hotel's facilities! I had to put them straight on that one!
We found a very helpful staff member called Stephen, who was from Germany on work-experience. He was always on hand and helped us resolve some of the more complicated situations. Both he and Ronald were a credit to the place.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. However; because of it's location, I would recommend the hotel only if you want complete peace and quiet, or you want to indulge in some of the activities. Otherwise, you are very remote.
