Manuel and his family have a beautiful house, gorgeous outdoor seating area where one can relax in the shade or sit in the sun. Our room was very large, clean, and very quiet, which we were happy about. Breakfast was good and filling. Manuel helped us with directions for taking the local bus, and is eager to make guests feel good and at home.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay that is not downtown.

The owner, Manuel, is a very friendly guy. The breakfast is good. The only inconvenient I found is that the price from Traveller's point Website did not include 6 USD of tax that I had to pay on top of the room's price. Appart from the last, I would recommend the place.

The host is reliable and helpful for new arrivals. Taxis do have problems finding the residential address. All services are within walking distance. The local busses can be used instead of taxis.

It is very easy to get from Casa Oshun into downtown San Jose. It's nice to be in a quiet residential area in a lovely home and not in a crowded, loud hostel.
Manual is very friendly, helpful with all my questions, and he makes a great breakfast. The dining area is lovely and completely open to the outside and there were lovely breezes. The cats were very welcoming too.
There is a supermarket, bank, and restaurants within easy walking distance. A taxi from the airport was $18.
