We had read a review that said this hotel had the most inhospitable staff but it was the only hotel with space (we arrived on short notice) and we thought how bad can the service be? The woman working there (Neshra) was in fact the worst customer service rep I think I've ever met. Not only did she offer no greeting ever (she was downright sour) and make us feel like we were putting her out for getting a room, she demanded to know if we wanted breakfast and that then we pay in advance for the room on the spot. We gave her the money and a 100dh bill when we owed 62dh. She handed it back and said she couldn't make change but to bring to her later. We went swimming and the moment we walked back in the door she demanded the sixty dh on the spot, again no greeting. It turned into a big ordeal because we hadn't gotten change yet, and for the whole rest of the stay it made going back to the hotel each night a little intimidating and made our stay most unpleasant. The space itself is actually quite wonderful but because of the staff you don't actually want to spend time there. If you have to stay there the location is great, but if you want to enjoy your time in the portuguese city, there is another hotel in the cite like this one that I imagine MUST have a nicer staff.

We stayed In this lovely accomodation in late March this year.
El Jadida is a lovely coastal place to book and we enjoyed it however the House keeper who runs the place for the lovely owner Jacky is the unfriendliest and unhelpful person I have ever come across. We travelled through Morocco for a full month and El Jadida was our last stop and we could not belive how rude one person could be. All she did for the whole 4 days we were there was lay on the couch and watch TV. She did not even greet us when we arrived and on leaving told us to learn french next time we come to Morocco. We traveled through the whole of Morocco on our basic french wthout any problems but she was unwilling to even give us the time of day and made it clear that we were a burden on her. No clean sheets, towels or toilet paper the whole time we were there. The Place is lovely and the owner very lovely but Watch out for the House Keeper!
