Meson de Leyendas' (House of Legends) Bed & Breakfast is a renovated nun's monastery in Valle de Bravo that dates back to the seventeen hundreds.
It consists of two main buildings which have been restored into our family home and a comfortable, three star, five room B & B. We have preserved the original colonial architecture of the two buildings which are separated by gorgeous lush gardens, filled with flamboyant trees, bamboo, birds of paradise, bougainvillea and other flourishing tropical plants.
'Meson de Leyendas' B & B five unique rooms have each their own Mexican flair, decorated with local artisan crafts and all with a fireplace, or 'chimenea', to keep you warm on chilly mountain nights. All rooms come with a private bathroom, TV, coffeemaker, microwave and security box. You can relax on the lounge chairs at the first floor patio, converse, or sip your morning coffee in the company of other guests and travelers, otherwise, enjoy some quite time in the garden area.
'Meson de Leyendas' is ideally located only three blocks from the downtown area so you can easily walk everywhere you want to go around Valle. Within our same block you will find a laundry mat, restaurants, cafes, nightclubs and shops. There is also parking available in case you have a vehicle and wish to park in a guarded area.
"Mi casa es su casa" (my house is your house) goes an old Mexican saying. Come and enjoy our relaxed and friendly atmosphere at 'Meson de Leyendas' where we will do our best to make you feel at home during your stay

It's a nice place to stay but in my opinion the 4 blocks are a little bit too long. I would prefer something nearer the Zocalo for next time. It's a bed and breakfast, in the afternoon noone stays in the hotel, just a man that looks around. Breakfast is ok, employees are very polite, the patio is nice and the room was ok, comfortable and clean. If you book by internet, the bedroom they give you is number 10 (not in the hotel's webpage) which has a queen size bed, the toilet and shower is like inside the bedroom separated with glass walls and you don't have any view. But it's cheaper that if you pay regular price. I like a lot the rustic style but I found a spider in the bed, not very nice. I think next time I would try a different place and if I don't find anything better for that money, then come back.
