This is potentially the weirdest place I stayed in Greece. There were so many things wrong with it and yet I kinda loved it too.

It is true to say the quality of the "hotel" is a bit pants. First challenge was to actually find the place, and when we did we pushed open this creaky door and were greeted with a dark stairwell. We arrived quite late, but had warned that this would be the case, however there was no indication of what we were meant to do and eventually woke up the hotel owners elderly mother who lives on the floor that the rooms for rent are. She phoned her daughter who came down in her dressing gown to let us into our ramshackle room but to be honest we were just glad to have a bed to sleep in.

I'll list a few cons:
broken bathroom window
we were there a week and had the same sheets the whole week
the fridge didnt work
the floor was pretty filthy
generally a bit shabby!!!
balcony but view is just of the apartments opposite.

however, the pros:
Near the centre of town
Cheap!!
Near the hospital (i only mention this because i did have to use it whilst there!!!)
Supermarket in adjacent street
Lovely hotel owner who gave us coffee and homemade biscuits and gave us a lift to bus station at the ned of our stay
Free juice drink on arrival!

The thing that made us love this place (which could well be a large con to some people!) was the hotel owners son's band who practiced downstairs most of the days we were there who were AMAZING. really really good!! they played traditional greek music and i could have listened to it all day, which is lucky really because they would practice for hours at a time!!!!
