Our ship Gandalf is situated 10 minutes walk from the Central station and in the centre of Amsterdam....
Prices include bed linen, towels, Breakfast, coffee and tea.
10 cabins, all with toilet, bathroom, central heating and two beds (Not bunk beds).
- Check-in times are between 11.00 and 19.00. We do not have a 24-hour reception, so if you want to arrive at a different time, pleas notify us by e-mail or mobile phone at least a day in advance. (Number / address will be shown on booking confirmation)
- Breakfast is from 09.00 till 11.00 and check-out time is 10.00
- The remaining amount of your booking as well as your bar bill, etc. can only be paid in cash. The booking is to be paid upon arrival, the bar bill before departure.
- No smoking in the cabins.
- No using of any kind of drugs in the ship.

we stayed there for 3 nights..it was really a very good and new experience to stay there in a ship..good rooms with low but sufficient space, very good break fast and very supporting staff..it was good value for the money..and location was also very good and close to station and other places..

It's a family run. Very lovely atmosphere. Very clean en sute and room. Very generous with breakfast ,snack and drinks. We like it a lot. And will stay there again.

For the price, this ship is a great accommodation and a unique location for your stay in Amsterdam! Though the rooms are quite small (you still have 2 single beds and your private en suite bathroom) it is just fine for a place to stay located right next to the Nemo Science Center. Hans, the owner is quite friendly and offers breakfast every morning along with coffee and tea throughout the day. I have a gluten free dietary requirement and he was very accommodating and really went out of his way to make sure I had something each morning! The ship is clean and comfortable.

great central location on dock, only 5-10 minute walk from both train station and central amsterdam.rooms small but fine. good hot showers. friendly staff.good breakfast. lovely ambience. recommended, would return.

I have been several times in Amsterdam, first time I was in a flat, second in a hotel and a hostel, and the 3rd in the Gandalf passenger ship and has been the best choice I could have made. Great place, confortable bed, good breakfast, and very nice staff. Thanks for everything!

5 Stars for everything. Hans Petrus is a great host. I loved the location, hanging out in the common area in late evening to read and talk with other guests and Hans. Easy for me to do short walk from the station (follow signs for Nemo Museum) and back for my train to plane as well as amble around town; will stay here again. Cabins / rooms for sleeping are small of course but that did not bother me as it was my purpose to get out and about and see Amsterdam. Hans is welcoming and kind. Yep this was a wonderful stay in the loveliest of cities.

It(He,She) is enough near the Red Neighborhood that is the zone that more I like.
The breakfast is very good and with enough quantity.
The only thing that I did not like is that we were 9 days and, though they changed the sheets once and the towels frequently, they did not clean any day.
